The Parish Council own the sports field on the edge of the village, between Caxton Road and Sand Road. Part of this is leased out to the Gransdens Lawn Tennis Club, at a peppercorn rent, and the site also hosts the Great Gransden Pre-school Playgroup. The rest of the site is managed by the Gransdens Sportsfield and Recreational Association (‘the GSRA’), a registered charity. The car park and main entrance is off Caxton Road (SG19 3BH, what3words ///kilt.encounter.stuck) but the tennis courts are best accessed from Sand Road (///loosens.little.acrobats), where there is another, smaller car park.
