The Parish Council owns the playing field behind the Reading Room, on which are a childrens’ playground, the Bowling Green, and the Multi-Use Games Area (the MUGA). The playing field is accessed via the driveway to the right of the Reading Room (what3words: ///skidding.panning.trackers), and there is also a pedestrian access from Little Lane (///jigsaw.dentistry.racing) – though the latter is via a flight of steps, and thus is not suitable for all.
The playing field should only be used in the daytime, and the gate by the Reading Room may be locked at other times. The MUGA should not be used after 8:30 pm even if it is still light. See below for the rules for the use of the MUGA, and also see the Policies page for information on the commercial use of the MUGA.
Anyone using the MUGA or any other part of the playing field do so at their own risk, liability will not be accepted for personal injury or the loss or damage of valuables.
