There are a number of salt bins scattered around the village, as shown in the map below:
(The blue indicator is for the salt bin in Little Gransden, opposite the Gransden Mill.) CCC Highways is looking for volunteers in every parish to help with gritting footpaths and footways. The next step would be to contact the Parish Clerk by mid-October – if we get enough interest by then, then we would set up a working group (to assign routes and keep a record of when gritting is done) and send in the forms to CCC.
