Parish Council Meeting, September 2022

The Next Meeting of the Parish Council will be held in The Reading Room on  Monday 5th September 2022 at 7:30pm with Nick Ginn in the chair.

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purposes of considering and resolving the business to be transacted at the meeting as set out below.

1.  Silent Prayer.

2. Apologies for absence.

3. Declarations of Interest. 

(a) Councillors to declare any disclosable pecuniary interest in any items on the agenda;

(b) Councillors to declare any other interest in any items on the agenda.

4. Minutes.  Consideration of the minutes of the meetings on 1st August 2022 and 16th August.

5. Open Forum for 15 minutes to enable members of the public to bring any matters to the attention of the Parish Council.

6. Matters Arising.      

  1. Neighbourhood Development Plan – update on submission.
  2. Multi Use Games Area – update from Councillors.

7. Playground Maintenance Quotes.

8. Website.

9. Open Forum Policy.

10. Dog Poo Bins.

11. Clerk’s Financial Statement.  For August 2022 and Budget Review.

12. Payments for Approval.

13. Highways.

  • Any repairs or maintenance needed;

14. Correspondence.

15.1.     PARISH COUNCIL CONSULTATION.

16. HR Committee Update. In line with the legislation below*, this item will be closed to the public

(2) A body may, by resolution, exclude the public from a meeting (whether during the whole or part of the proceedings) whenever publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted or for other special reasons stated in resolution and arising from the nature of that business or of the proceedings; and where such a resolution is passed, this Act shall not require the meeting to be open to the public during proceedings to which the resolution applies.’
